What do you do after a christening? i.e. party/celebration?

Hi, just wondering what people generally do after their child is christened - if people could say what they/relatives did that would be great! we are getting our son christened just after Christmas and aren't sure what to do, our choice is between pub lunch or buffet or village hall and bring own food (everyone brings something too). Any ideas would be great, so if you can let me know what you did that would be great, thank you in advanced. x x
