Would buying a new home in a new city an hour away help my marriage?

Since I have been married I have had trouble with my ex girlfriends and my wif'es ex-boyfriends trying to get fresh and ask for . I also have inlaws that influence my stepchildren not to like me. I am thinking of buying this home an hour away from our childhood city and hope for a fresh start. I have also had high school friends come to my wife and tell her that I sucked in sports and that I am not worth a damn. This is a lie. I am a college educated Christian man and I have always had people from my high school years try to put things in my wife's head and inside of the heads of girls from my past. They have even told my wife that they thought I was gay. I am so sick of the small town crap. My town has 7,000 people. We are moving to a town with 190,000 people. Will it be better?
