Soldiers time in service vrs time in grade?

Age does not matter, I had SPC's who were younger then me put incharge of me, this made me mad! In the end I did not listen to them, I had time and service and Grade over them. I came from the reserves and with my dependance and my time and service, I was making as much as an E-5.
