How do I roar like a lion?

So I'm in this play and my character is a talking lion. However, there are several times throughout the play where I have to roar nervously, testingly (like trying to intimidate somebody and/or seeing how dangerous they are), and a lonely roar. Any tips on how to do this? Thanks!
